Terms of service.

In these terms, “we” means Karter Labs, the name under which its founder, Plămădeală Cătălin, works as a private individual based in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. Karter Labs is not a registered company. “You” means the business or person using this website or asking us for work.

We design and build software and related digital services: websites, CRM and ERP systems, internal tools, dashboards, automations, integrations and custom software. Where agreed, we also maintain and extend them after launch.

These terms are general. Before a project starts, its scope, price, timeline and conditions are agreed in writing, in a quote or project agreement. Where that document says something different from these terms, the project document applies.

Nothing on this website is a binding offer. A project starts only once both sides have confirmed the quote or agreement.

We build according to the requirements and specifications agreed for the project. Anything not listed there is not included unless we agree it later in writing.

Prices depend on scope and requirements. The starting prices on this website are starting points, not a quote. The price of your project is confirmed before work begins.

Payment terms, including amounts, schedule and method, are set out in the quote or agreement for each project.

Additional features or major changes requested after the scope is agreed may change the price and the timeline. We tell you the effect before doing that work, and go ahead only once you confirm.

You provide the accurate information, content, access and approvals the project needs, in time. Delays on either side can move the timeline. You are responsible for having the rights to the content, data and materials you give us.

Projects can rely on third-party services such as domains, hosting, APIs, messaging platforms and paid software. Their costs are separate unless the quote says otherwise, and they are provided under their own terms. We are not responsible for changes, outages or price changes made by those providers.

Who owns or may use the code, designs and other results of a project is set out in the project agreement.

Open-source libraries, third-party components and tools we made before the project stay under their own licences and owners. We show a project in our portfolio only with your agreement.

Support after launch, such as fixing defects, maintenance and new features, is provided as set out in the project agreement or in a separate maintenance agreement.

We do our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, or for problems caused by third-party services, and our total liability for a project is limited to the amount paid for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Either side may end a project as set out in the project agreement, including what is paid for and handed over at that point.

The content of this website is general information and may change without notice. Please do not misuse the site or the project form, for example by sending spam or harmful content. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova. If you act as a consumer, this does not remove the protection the law of your country of residence gives you.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when the current version took effect. A project already agreed follows the terms in effect when it was agreed.
